Give to a fund
We could not support community foundations and communities across the country without the ongoing support and generosity of our donors and contributors.
To give to a fund, click the Donate Now button on our donation page and select the name of the fund from the drop-down menu.
The Betsy Martin Fund
We established The Betsy Martin Fund in memory of our friend and colleague Betsy Martin. We are honoured to accept donations in Betsy’s name, as was requested by her family in lieu of flowers.
Betsy was a leader in a variety of fields over the course of her career, with the broad area of social finance being a driving passion of hers over the past decade.
Proceeds from The Betsy Martin Fund will be used to support social finance related activities, projects and programs. Unlike many endowment funds, the capital of this fund can itself be invested in socially responsible, mission-related or other impact investments.
The Monica Patten Fund
The Monica Patten Fund is a permanent endowment fund created by Monica’s colleagues and friends to pay tribute to our organization’s founding CEO and support our ongoing operations. Monica is recognized for her long-time leadership and commitment to philanthropy in Canada.
Proceeds from the The Monica Patten Fund will allow us to continue building and supporting the community foundation movement for generations to come. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, your gift is eligible for a 50% match.
The All for Community Fund
The All for Community Fund helps ensure that the community foundation movement, one of Canada’s largest grantmakers, stays strong and sustainable for future generations. Thanks to your generosity and vision, all gifts to this fund will be matched – for every $10,000 gift we receive, an additional $5,000 will go towards supporting Canadian communities and community foundations.
Welcome Fund for Syrian Refugees
The Welcome Fund for Syrian Refugees was established to welcome and care for families who plan to build a future in Canada. The Fund will help community foundations grant to local organizations working to support housing and settlement efforts underway across Canada.
