The Algonquin Students’ Association is a not-for-profit corporation and, as such, reports to its members. As a fee-paying student, you are a member in this corporation.

This means that you have the right to vote in the election that elects the governing body, the Board of Directors. You also have the right to run for a position as a director.

The Board is made up of nine directors who make the key decisions that affect students. The Board is the best voice you have to reach the College Administration. It is essential that you become involved in your Students’ Association: without you there is no Students’ Association.
