What is Alliance 150?

Sharing your project idea and collaborating with others is a great way to maximize the impact of your Canada 150 initiative.

All applicants to the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th are encouraged to join Alliance 150, an open network of groups, individuals and organizations working to make the most of Canada’s sesquicentennial.

As a member of the Alliance, you will be able to share your project and connect with others in your community and across the country who may have similar goals for Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Passport 2017

We’re pleased to be a partner of Passport 2017, a free mobile and web app that is designed to help Canadians discover and explore all the nation has to offer for Canada’s 150th anniversary for Confederation.

Passport 2017 will be the gateway to thousands of events taking place across the country throughout 2017 and will offer users a constantly updated feed of news, stories, photos and videos.

Members of the Alliance are encouraged to add their Canada 150 events directly to Passport 2017, and we’re excited to say we’ll be working more closely with Passport 2017 in the coming months to showcase our members’ projects, initiatives, and stories.

For now, you can download the Passport 2017 app to your smartphone or visit them on the web at www.passport2017.ca
