Young Canadians are growing up in an era of complexity and uncertainty. Economic, demographic and social shifts have dramatically altered the landscape for Canada’s youth as they enter adulthood.
Our landmark #GenerationFlux report drove these realities home, pointing to the need to ensure Canada’s young people are healthy, educated and feel a sense of belonging in our communities.
Community foundations are supporting youth-led community initiatives and involving young Canadians in everything from philanthropic giving to bridging the divide between indigenous and non-indigenous young people.
Community Foundations of Canada is also driving specific opportunities through programs such as our Youth Catalyst Fund and Queen Elizabeth Scholarships to help young people complete their education, experience cross-cultural exchanges and move into successful careers.
