National Vital Signs
Alongside our network, Community Foundations of Canada uses Vital Signs to engage Canadians in a deeper exploration of issues and trends that affect and influence community vitality. Vital Signs is more than just a report – it’s a way for us to take the pulse on issues that matter and spark change through our network of community foundations, partners and allies in communities from coast to coast to coast.
Belonging: Exploring Connection to Community
In 2015, we began a multi-year and multifaceted exploration on the topic of belonging, which has become an area of strategic focus for Community Foundations of Canada and for many community foundations across the country. This Vital Signs journey and focus on belonging will continue through the end of 2017 and includes a three-part report (with chapters released every October), as well as two special reports looking at the connection between sport and belonging (released in April 2016) and arts and belonging (to be released in April 2017).
